Chap. 21.—An ACT to authorize a loan of muskets to the Wytheville
Academy.
Approved January 12, 1886.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the adjutant-general be and he is hereby authorized and directed
to furnish to the principal of the Wytheville male academy
seventy-five muskets belonging to the state, for the use of the
scholars of said institution. But the said adjutant-general shall
not issue said muskets until the principal of said academy shall
execute and file in the office of the adjutant-general a bond
with sufficient security, in such amount as the adjutant-general
shall prescribe, conditioned for the return of said muskets
whenever the same shall be required by the authorities of the
state.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
