Chap. 155.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3 of an act ap-
proved March 14, 1878, entitled an act to authorize the construction
of a turnpike road in Princess Anne and Norfolk counties.

Approved February 18, 1886.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section three of an act approved March fourteenth, eighteen
hundred and seventy-eight, entitled an act to authorize the
construction of a turnpike road in Princess Anne and Norfolk
counties, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows ;

$3. The said company may collect tolls for passing over
said road or bridge, or both of them. The rates of toll over
said bridge may be regulated by said company: provided, that
the rate shall not exceed ten cents each way for vehicles drawn
ly one animal, and sixteen cents each way for vehicles drawn
by two animals, and weighing, with their loads, less than two
tons.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
