Chap. 139.—An ACT to render valid the action of the Board of Su-
pervisors of Tazewell county in their conveyance of thirty feet of
land to A. White and Joseph Stras.
Approved February 16, 1886.
Whereas, on the seventeenth day of June, eighteen hundred
and eighty-four, the board of supervisors of Tazewell county
sold and conveyed to A. White and Joseph Stras thirty feet of
ground in rear of their store building, without conforming to
the requirements of the statute in the sale of public property,
on which they have in part erected a valuable store building;
and whereas it is desired, in order to perfect the title thereto,
7 confirm the action of the said board of supervisors: there-
ore, : ;
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the conveyance by the board of supervisors of the thirty feet
of land to A. White and Joseph Stras, as set forth in the deed
signed and acknowledged by them, and bearing date of seven-
teenth day of June, eighteen hundred and eighty-four, be and
the same is hereby declared valid and binding, and operating
to pass the title, the same as if the said board had conformed
to the statute governing the sale and conveyance of public
property.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
