Chap. 135.-—An ACT to allow Thomas C. Kellam to erect a wharf
for shipping produce on a tributary of Wachapreague inlet, Acco-
mac county, Virginia.
Approved February 16, 1886.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Thomas C. Kellam, of the county of Accomac, be authorized
to erect a pier or wharf upon the public lands of the common-
wealth, known as Paramore’s dock, situated upon a tributary
of Wachapreague inlet, one and a half miles from the village
of Locustville, in the county of Accomac, for the purpose of
shipping general produce to and from the same for himself
and others; and the said Thomas C. Kellam, his heirs and
assigns, shall have the right to charge such compensation for
use of said pier or wharf as may be agreed upon by and be-
tween the parties, or as are usual: provided that the said pier
or wharf shall not interfere with navigation: and provided,
also, that this act shall at all times be under the control of the
general assembly, and be amended or repealed as may be
deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
