Chap. 43.—An ACT to prescribe the times and places for holding
the courts of the sixth judicial circuit.
Approved November 18, 1884.
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the circuit courts for the several counties composing the sixth
judicial circuit shall be held at the following times in each
ear:
y Albemarle county—On the first day of February, the tenth
day of May, and the tenth day of October.
Culpeper county—On the fifteenth day.of March, the first
day of June, and the tenth day of September.
Goochland county—On the first day of April, and the first
day of September.
Fluvanna county—On the tenth day of April, and the
twentieth day of November. |
Madison county—On the twentieth day of Apri!, and the
twentieth day of September. © )
_ Orange county—On the first day of May, and the first day
of October.
Greene county—On the tenth day of June, and the tenth
day of November.
2. The judge of the said circuit may, by an order made in
term time or vacation, degignate one of the three annual
terms aforesaid for Albemarle county and for Culpepercounty,
at which no trial shall be had of any issue at law, triable b
jury in a civil case, unless specially set for hearing at suc
term by an order at the preceding term.
3. All acts and parts of acts inconsistent herewith are
hereby repealed.
4. This act shall be in force from the first day of January
next.
