Chap. 40.—An ACT to authorize the judge of the circuit court of the
city of Alexandria, to hold special terms of his court in his city.
Approved October 24, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia,
That the judge of the circuit court of the city of Alexandria,
be and he is hereby authorized to hold, in such manner as is
now prescribed, special terms of his court in said city, when
in his opinion, it is proper that the same should be held. At
any such spccial term, any civil cause or matter at law, or in
chancery may be heard and determined, which could have
been heard and determined if the same had been a regular
term.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
