Chap. 184.—An ACT for the relief of C. W. Hill, late judge of the
hustings court of the city of Portsmouth.
Approved December 1, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the councils of the city of Norfolk, be and they are hereby
authorized to make a special allowance to Judge C. W. Hill,
late judge of the hustings court of the city of Portsmouth,
for presiding as judge of the corporation court of the said city
of Norfolk, during the absence of Judge Scarburgh, amount-
ing in the aggregate to ninety-one days.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
