Chap. 176.—An ACT for the relief of Charles H. Hart, late treasurer
of Isle of Wight county.
Approved December 1, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for Charles H. Hart, late treasurer of Isle
of Wight county, to collect by levy, as if the same were exe-
cutions in the hands of the sheriff of said county, all tax-bills
assessed for the years eighteen hundred and seventy-nine,
eighteen hundred and eighty, eighteen hundred and eighty-
one, and eighteen hundred and eighty-two, which are still in
his hands uncollected and unpaid, and which were not re-
turned delinquent: provided however, that the right of the
said Charles H. Hart to collect the said tax-bills by levy shall
not continue beyond one year from the date of the passage of
this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
