Chap. 169.—JOINT RESOLUTION authorizing the Board of Public
Works to pay for guarding the public storehouse.

Approved November 29, 1884.

1. Resolved (the house of delegates concurring,) That the
board of public works are authorized to pay from the funds
received for rent and storage of the public warehouse, a sum
not exceeding thirty dollars per month, for guarding and pro-
tecting said property: provided that any contract for a greater
sum heretofore made shall be paid, but said contract shall
terminate as of the first day of December, eighteen hundred
and eighty-four.

2. This resolution shall be in force from its passage.
