Chap. 153.—An ACT to extend the time for ‘imposing the penalty of
five per centum for non-payment of taxes for the second assessor's
district of Norfolk.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the time from which the penalty of five per centum is added
for the non-payment of taxes for the year eighteen hundred
and eighty-four, be and the same is hereby extended to the
first day of January, eighteen hundred and eighty-five, for
the second assessor’s district of Norfolk county. ©

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
