Chap. 152.—An ACT to appropriate money to complete the new asylum
building near Petersburg, known as the Central lunatic asylum.

Approved November 27, 1884.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the sum of twelve thousand dollars be and the same is here-
by appropriated out of any money in the treasury not other-
wise appropriated, to be expended by the board of directors
of the Central lunatic asylum in completing the additional
infirmary ward, in building a railroad from the basement of
the kitchen to the basement of each dining-room ward, and
in building a gas-house, and permanent water supply, includ-
ing a.dam across the run or creck. —

Z. This act shall be in force from its passage.
