Chap. 147.—An ACT to authorize James D. Campbell and others, the
trustees in whom is vested the legal title to the tract of land in Louisa
eounty, held by them as a manse for the use of the Providence church,
to sell and convey the said manse.
Approved November 27, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
James D. Campbell and others, the trustees holding the legal
title to the tract of land in Louisa county, Virginia, as a
manse or parsonage for the use and benefit of the pastor of
the congregation of Providence Presbyterian church, be and
are hereby authorized to sell and convey the same, and the
proceeds of said sale to be applied to the liquidation of the
debt due from said congregation and church to their pastor.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
