missioner of the revenue of Northampton county, and William J.
Euritt, late commissioner of the revenue for Augusta county.
Approved November 25, 1884.
Whereas by reason of incorrectness of the books, and their
consequent return to the commissioner of the revenue for the

commissioner of the revenue for the county of Augusta, said
commissioners failed to return their books to the auditor of
public accounts within the time prescribed by law; and
whereas said books were perfected and forwarded in a very
short while after said specified time; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be and heis hereby authorized
and directed to issue his warrants in favor of John T. W.
Custis, late commissioner of the revenue for Northampton
county, and William J. Euritt, late commissioner of the reve-
nue for Augusta county, respectively, for the usual commis-
sion for the discharge of the duties of said offices.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
