Chap. 107.—An ACT for the relief of John W. Green and his deputies.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
John W. Green, late treasurer of Carroll county, and his
deputies, be and they are hereby allowed the further time of
one year to collect any unpaid taxes in their hands for collec-
tion as such officers, for the years from eighteen hundred and
eighty to eighteen hundred and eighty-two, inclusive, and to
enable them to do so, they shall have the same power of
distress and levy as was in force in said years applicable to
the collection of taxes in this commonwealth.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
