Chap. 10.—An ACT to authorize the District School Boards in the
county of Rockingham, to use district school funds for the payment of
teachers.
Approved August 23, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
in the county of Rockingham it shall be lawful for the school
board of any school district, where a sufficient number of
school houses have been built in said district and all the con-
tingent expenses provided for, to make use of so much of the
residue of the district school money for the payment of
teachers, as in its judgment the educational interests of the
district may seem to demand.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
