Chap. 58.—An ACT to authorize the board of, supervisors to increase
the salary of the Superintendent of the Poor, for the county of Hali-
fax.

In force January 28, 1884.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors ot Halifax county, be, and they are
hereby authorized and empowered to increase the salary of
the superintendent of the poor of said county, to an amount
not exceeding seven hundred dollars, to be paid out of the
county treasury.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
