Chap. 568.—An ACT to incorporate the Natural Bridge Forest Com-
pany.
Approved March 19, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
H. C. Parsons, 8S. H. Letcher, E. N. Bagg, H. L. Whitecomb,
Cyrus H. McCormick, and James G. Blaine, be and they are
hereby constituted a corporation by the name and style of
the Natural Bridge Forest Company. The said company
shall have power to hold, not to exceed three thousand acres
in the county of Rockbridge, including the Natural bridge,
and to lay the same out in parks and lawns, to lease property
for hotels or other buildings, and to build wagon roads and
turnpikes; and to build and work railroads from the Natural
bridge in Rockbridge county, to the most convenient point
on the Sanandoab Valley, on the Richmond and Alleghany,
and on the Valley railroad in said county.
2. The capital stock of the said company shall not exceed
two hundred thousand dollars, and its bonded debt not ex-
ceed one hundred thousand dollars.
3. This act shall be in terce from its passage.
