Chap. 506.—An ACT to provide a mode of transferring from one de-
pository to another the funds uf the commonwealth.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
whenever it is proper, in the opinion of the governor, to
transfer any funds of the commonwealth from one depository of
the state to another, tho transfer shall be made upon the order
of the governor, countersigned by the treasurer. The order
shall be drawn on one depository in favor of the other, and
the money transferred shall not go into the hands of the
treasurer, but the transfer shall be made in the mode selected
by the depository receiving the money, and at its risk and
expense.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
