Chap. 504.—An’ ACT to release the Enst Augusta Fire Insurance Com-
puny from the payment of taxes assessed against them for the year
1883.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the East Augusta Mutual insurance company be and they are
hereby released trom the payment of the tax of two hundred
dollars assessed against them for the year eighteen hundred
and eighty three; the said company not being an insurance
company for the ownership of property, or making money by
their mutual insurance, the property of the corporators being
already taxed under the general tax law.

2. This act shall be in torce trom its passage.
