Chap. 499.—An ACT to allow George W. Glenn, of the county of Ac-
comac, to erect a pier, or wharf, in said county, for the purpose of
shipping oysters, &c.
Approved March 17, 1884.
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
George W. Glenn, of the county of Accomac, be "authorized
to erect a pier, or wharf, in Pocomoke sound, opposite and
near Saxes island, in the county of Accomac, for the purpose
of shipping oysters, vegetables, and so forth, to and from the
same, tor himself and others ; and the said George W. Glenn,
his heirs and assigns, shall have the right to “charge such
compensation for the use of said pier or wharf, as may be
agreed upon by and between the parties, or as are usual: pro-
vided that the said pier or wharf, shall not interfere with
navigation: and provided also, that this act shall at all times
be under the control of the general assembly, and be amended
or repealed as may be deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force trom its passage.
