Chap. 471.—An ACT to regulate the printing and binding of the Vir-
ginia Reports, and to amend and re-enact section 7 of chapter 162,
Code of 1873.
Approved March 17, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section seven of chapter one hundred and sixty-two, of Code
of eighteen hundred and seventy-three, be amended and. re-
enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 7. The superintendent of public printing shall contract
for the printing and binding of two thousand copies of the
Reports, by the reporter of the court of appeals, of the deci-
sions of that court, in the stvle of print and binding to con-
form to the present reports of the decisions of the supreme
court of the United States, and secure the copyright of the said
Reports tor the benefit of the commonwealth; and he shall
deliver the volumes, when completed, to the secretary of the
commonwealth. In all other respects, In relation to the
printing and binding of said Reports, the eizht section of the
act of March first, cishteen hundred and sixty-six, entitled
an act to amend and re-enact the provisions of the Code of
eighteen hundred and sixty, and the acts subsequent thereto,
in regard to the public printer and public printing, shall ap-
ply.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
