Chap. 458.—An ACT for the relief of L. L. Deakine, treasurer of
Greenesville county.
Approved March 17, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for L. L. Deakins, treasurer of Greenesville
county, and J. B. Pitzer, late treasurer of Alleghany county,
to collect by levy as if the same were exccutions in the hands
of the sheriff of said counties, all tax bills assessed for the
years eightcen hundred and eighty and eighteen hundred and
eizhty-one and eighteen hundred and eighty-two, which are
still in their hands uncollected and unpaid, and which were
not returned delinquent: provided however, that the right of
the said L. L. Deakins and Pitzer to collect the said tax bills
by levy shall not continue beyond one year from the date of
the passage of this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
