Chap. 438.—An ACT to relieve Lafayette Fowler of certyin tines and
costs.

Whereas at the June term, eighteen hundred and eighty,
of the county court of Carroll county, a number of fines were
imposed upon Lafayette Fowler; and whereas upon applica-
tion to the circuit court of Carroll county it was recommen-
ded that said Fowler should be relieved from the payment of
said fines; therefore,

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
when Lafayette Fowler shall pay any one of the fines im-
posed upon him by the county court of Carroll county, (and
the costs attending the same,) at the June term, eighteen
hundred and eighty, of said court, that he shall be forever
relieved from the payment of all other fines and costs im-
posed upon him at that term of said court.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
