Chap. 375.—An ACT authorizing the Board of Supervisors to com-
pensate Judge J. L. S. Kirby for holding courts in Amherst county.

Approved March 10, 1884.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for the board of supervisors of Amherst
county to make an allowance, not to exceed ten dollars per
day, to Judge J. L. S. Kirby, of Nelson county, for holdin
the January and February terms, eighteen hundred an
eighty-three, of Amherst county court, by reason of the sick-
ness of Judge William Dillard.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
