Chap. 37.—An ACT for the relief of A. N. Finks, of Madison county.
In force January 28, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall be lawful for A. N. Finks, late collector for Robertson
district, in the county of Madison, to collect by levy as if the
same were executions in the hands of the sheriff of said
county, all tax bills assessed for the year eighteen hundred
and seventy-eight, and which were conveyed to the said A.
N. Finks, in his settlement with the proper authorities, and
which were not returned delinquent: provided, however, that
the right of the said A. N. Finks to collect the said tax bills
by levy, shall not continue beyond one year from the date of
the passage of this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
