Chap. 369.—An ACT in regard to repeal of Fence Law in the county
of Brunswick.
Approved March 10, 184.
Whereas an election was held in the county of Brunswick,
under authority of an act requiring the question of repealing
the present fence law in Totaro and Red Oak districts in said
county, to be referred to the voters of said districts, approved
February fourteenth, eighteen hundred and cighty-two, and it
having been ascertained from the returns and abstracts of
votes cast at said election, that the requisite number of votes
had been cast avainst the present fence law, and the county
court having, in pursuance of said statute, declared that the
repeal of the fence law in said districts. shall take effect on
the twenty-eighth day of May, eighteen hundred and eiehty-
four; and whereas it appears to this general assembly, that
it is desirable that the time for such repeal in Totaro and
Red Oak districts, shall be extended for cighteen months
after the day named in the said order of court; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the gencral assembly of Virsinia, That
the time for the repeal of the present fence law in the mavis-
terial districts of Totaro and of Red Oak, in the county of
Brunswick, be extended for eighteen months from the “day
mentioned in the order entered of record by the county
court of said county.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
