Chap. 359. —An ACT to enable the Dunbar Furnace Company, of
Pennsylvania, tu bold real estate in the commonwealth.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
it shall and may be lawfulfor the Danbar Furnace Company,
a corporation chartered by the state of Pennsylvania for the
purpose of carrying on the manufacture of iron or steel, or
both, to purchase, hold, lease, and mortgage real estate and
mineral rights requisite for the transaction of its business ; to
open and operate mines, and to erect furnaces, forges, mills,
foundries, and such other improvements as it deems necessary,
with full power to sell, lease and convey the same or any part
thereof: provided the real estate held in tee- rsirape in any
one county, shall not exceed ten thousand acres: provided
that nothing contained in this act shall be construed to de-
prive the courts of this state of jurisdiction of all questions
arising between citizens ot this state and the said Dunbar
Furnace Company.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
