Chap. 356.—An ACT for the relief of William M. McGruder, late
treasurer of Henrico county.
Approved March 10, 1884.
1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be and be is hereby authorized
and directed to issue a warrant on the treasury, payable out
of any money therein not otherwise appropriated, in favor of
William M. MeGruder, tor the sum of six hundred and thirty-
eight dollars, it being the amount paid by said William M.
McGruder while treasurer of [Lenrico county to jurors serv-
ing in prosecutions for felony in the county court of Henrico
from the August term of said court, eighteen hundred and
seventy-cight, to the June term, eighteen hundred and eighty,
inclusive; his claim against the commonwealth, for repay-
ment of said amount, having been disallowed by the audi-
tor of public accounts, because the account for the same,
although allowed by said county court, was not presented to
said auditor for payment within two years from the time of
rendering the service.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
