Chap. 355.—An ACT to authorize the Boards of Supervisors of the
eounties of Albemarle and Augusta to allow the Sheriff of said
counties a sum not exceeding one hundred dollars for fuel used at
Juils of said counties.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the boards of supervisors ‘of the counties of Albemarle and
Augusta, be. and they are hereby authorized to allow, in their
discretion, to the sheriff of said counties a sum not exceeding
one hundred dollars, on account of fuel for use at the jails
