Chap. 324.—An ACT to authorize Treasurer of Albemarle county, to
complete delinquent returns as to county levies, and to collect tax
tickets held by said Treasurer, but as to which he has settled with the
Auditor and Board of Supervisors without returning the same delin-
quent.
Approved March 7, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
A. J. Farish, treasurer of Albemarle county, may within one
year from the passage of this act, return and file with the
auditor of public accounts, any list of delinquent or uncol-
lected county taxes and levies which has been heretofore
returned by him to the county court or board of supervisora
of said county, with the same effect as if such list bad been
duly certified by said court to said auditor, and filed in_ his
oftice within the time prescribed by law; and said Farish
may, in the discretion, and by the leave of said court, and of
the board of supervisors of Albemarle, supplement any such
list by adding thereto, any such county taxes or levies as
may have been inadvertently omitted therefrom.
2. The further time of one year is hereby allowed said
Farish, within which to distrain for and collect any uncol-
lected tax tickets still in his bands and not returned delin-
quent.
