Chap. 318.—An ACT to allow P. D. Divers, treasurer of Franklin
county, further time to return lists of insolvents and delinquents.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
P. D. Divers, treasurer of Franklin county, shall be and he is
hereby allowed until March first, eighteen hundred and
eighty-five, to make returns of insolvent and delinquent lists
of taxes for eighteen hundred and cighty, eighteen hundred
and eighty-one, eighteen hundred and eighty-two, and eigh-
teen hundred eighty-three, and when said lists have been cer-
tified by the supervisors of the respective districts for which
the same are returned, and by the county court of said
county, the said treasurer shall be allowed the proper credits
in his settlements with tne supervisors and school boards of
said county, and the auditor of public accounts shall credit
said treasurer by whatever amounts said supervisors and
county court may certify as being insolvent and delinquent
in his settlements with said treasurer.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
