Chap. 30.—An ACT exempting, during harvest, farmers personally en-
gaged in saving their crops, from jury service.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
‘tween the fifteenth day of June and the fifteenth day of
uly in each year, any one personally engaged in the active
ity of farming, shall be exempt from jury service.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
