Chap. 281.—An ACT to allow the treasurer of Tazewell county further
time to collect certain taxes in Maiden Spring district in said county,
for the yeurs 1881, 1882, and 1883.

Whereas it is represented to the general assembly that
there are in the hands of D. B. Baldwin, treasurer of Taze-
well county, an amount of uncollected tickets for state and
county levies for Maiden Spring magisterial district of said
county, for the years eighteen hundred and eighty-one, eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-two, and eighteen hundred and
eighty-three; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
D. B. Baldwin, treasurer of Tazewell county, be and he is
authorized to collect such tickets for state and county levies
as yet remain in his hands uncollected for the years eighteen
hundred and eighty-one, eighteen hundred and eighty-two.
and eightcen hundred and eighty-three, in Maiden Spring
district ot said county, which have not been returned as
delinquent: provided the same be collected in twelve months
from the passage of this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
