Chap. 227.—An ACT to prescribe the times for holding Circuit Courts
in the Eighth Judicial Circuit.
Approved March 3, 1884,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the circuit courts of the eighth judicial circuit shall hold terms
hereafter at the times and places hereafter specified, to-wit:
county of Middlesex, twenty-fifth of March and twenty-fifth
of September; county of Mathews, sixth of April and sixth
of October; county of Elizabeth City, twentieth of April and
twentieth of October; county of Warwick, twenty-seventh
of April and twenty-seventh of October; county of York,
sixth of May and sixth of November; ceunty of Surry,
thirteenth of May and thirteenth of November; county of
Charles City, twentieth of May and twentieth of November;
county of New Kent, twenty-fifth of May and twenty-fifth
of November; Williamsburg and county of James City, first
of June and first of December.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage, and all acts
and parts of acts inconsistent with this act are hereby repealed.
