Chap. 218.—An ACT to authorize the Board of Supervisors of Mont-
eomery county to include in their levies an amount sutticient to pay
the outstanding warrants of the county for fox-scalps and sheep claims.

Approved March 3, 1834.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors of Montgomery county are hereby
authorized and empowered to include in their levy for county
purposes for the year cighteen hundred and eighty-four, an
amount sufficient to pay the outstanding warrants against
the county for fox-scalps and sheep claims: provided that
the amount so included for such purposes shall not exceed
five hundred dollars in any one year; and in the event the
said sum of five hundred dollars is not sufficient to pay said
outstanding warrants, then an additional sum sufficient to
pay the same may be included in the levy for eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-five.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
