Chap. 193.—An ACT to amend and re-enact 3 section of chapter 187
of the Code of 1873, as to what number of judges may hold a court,
etc.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section three of chapter one hundred and fifty-seven of the
Code of eighteen hundred and seventy-three, be amended
and re-enacted, so as to read as follows:
§ 3. The supreme and every special court of appeals may
be held by any three or more of the judges of such court.
Any such court or any other court may at any term, whether
regular or special, adjourn from day to day, until the busi-
ness before it is dispatched, or until the end of its term.
The judge of the circuit court for the city of Richmond, and
the county of Henrico, shall be, and he is hereby authorized
to adjourn the said courts during the terms thercof, for a
period not exceeding thirty days.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
