Chap. 175.—An ACT to authorize the Auditor of Public Accounts to
pay to Harriett Lightfoot Brooke, widow of Francis T. Brooke, de-
ceased, late superintendent of the Central Lunatic Asylum, the sum
of four hundred and sixty-five dollars, one quarter’s pay of the late
superintendent.

Approved February 25, 1884.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be and he is hereby authorized,
out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated,
to pay to Harriett Lightfoot Brooke, widow of Francis
T. Brooke, deceased, late superintendant of the Central luna-
tic asylum, the sum of four hundred and sixty-five dollars, it
being the remainder of one quarter's pay of said superinten-
dent above what was received by him.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
