Chap. 142.—An ACT empowering the Board of Supervisors of Henrico
county to pay certain claims.

Whereas John D. Foster acted as judge of the county court
of Henrico on the twenty-first day of May, and also on the
eighteenth and nineteenth days of June, eighteen hundred
and eighty-three, in cases in which the judge of said court
was disqualified to act; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors of Henrico county be authorized, in
their discretion, to allow and pay to John D. Foster, his bill
of fourteen dollars, the amount of traveling expenses and
hotel bills, incident to holding said courts.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
