Chap. 123.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 3 of an act passed
December 20, 1855, entitled an act to incorporate the town of
Orange.
Approved February 19, 1884.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the third section of ‘an act entitled an act to incor porate the
town of Orange, passed December twentieth, eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-five, be amended and re-enacted so as to read
as galowe :
§ 3. John M. Chapman, Alexander Daley, Thomas A. Robin-
oH, Alfred Thomson, and Philip S. Fry, or any two of them,
or their successors in office, are hereby authorized to hold an
election for five trustees, as provided for in the second section
of said act. annually on the fourth Thursday in May. Said
elections shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions
of law governing general clections.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
