Chap. 119.—An ACT for the relief of J. Vance Bell, late Treasurer of
Frederick County.

Whereas it is represented to the general assembly of Vir-
vinia. That there are in the hands of J. Vance Bell, late
treasurer of Frederick county, uncollected tickets for state
tuxes and county levics for the years eighteen hundred and
eighty, eighteen hundred and eighty-one, and eighteen hun-
dred and eighty-two; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
J. Vance Bell, late treasurer of Frederick county, be, and he
is authorized to collect in person or by such deputy as he
shall appoint, such tickets for state taxes and county levies
as yet remain in his hands uncollected, for the years eighteen
hundred and eighty, eighteen hundred and eighty-one, and
eighteen hundred and eighty- two, which have not been re-
turned as delinquent: provided the same be collected within
one year from the passage of this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage:
