Chap. 106.—JOINT RESOLUTION appropriating $300 to supply the
citizens of Middlesex county, with Ammunition for the Arms hereto-
fore furnished them to enforce the law passed for the Protection of
Oysters.

Approved February 12, 18384.

1. Resolved by the house of delegates (the senate concur:
ring), That the governor be, and he is hereby authorized and
requested to buy and place at disposal ot the civil authorities
of the county of Middlesex, one thousand rounds of ammuni-
tion for small arms, and five hundred rounds of suitable
ammunition for artillery, to enable the citizens of said county,
more effectually to entre e the laws of this commonweulth,
passed for the protection of oysters; and for this purpose the
sum of three hundred dollars is hereby appropriated to defray
any expense incurred in the execution of this resolution.

2. This joint resolution shall take effect from its passage.
