Chap. 102.—An ACT to dispose of certain Virginia Reports on hand
und in the custody of the Librarian.

Whereas there are a large number of the Virginia Reports
stored in the capitol building over the senate chamber, which
are depreciating in value, and which endanger the safety of
the capitol building, and encumber the library; and whereas
such reports may be now reproduced at much less then the
last price; theretore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the secretary of the commonwealth be, and he is hereby
authorized to sell to any citizen of the state for his own use,
and not for purposes of sale, who will make affidavit that he
desires the books for his own use, and bas not the volumes in
his possession, the following named reports at the uniform
price of two dollars per volume, viz: Gilmer’s Reports, volume
one, seventy-five volumes; Randolph’s Reports, volume one,
ninety-five volumes; volume two, thirty-five volumes; volume
three, one volume; volume tour, four volumes; volume five,
seventy-five volumes; volume six, four hundred and forty-five
volumes; Leigh’s Reports, volume one, one hundred ninety-
five volumes; volume two, two hundred and forty-five vol-
umes; volume three, two hundred and ninety-five volumes;
volume four, two hundred and ninety-five volumes; volume
five, three hundred and forty-five volumes; volume six, two
hundred and fifty-five volumes; volume seven, two hundred
and ninety-five volumes; volume eight, three hundred and
thirty-five volumes; volume nine, three hundred and forty-
