Chap. 53.—An ACT to declare Little river a lawful fence from its
mouth to Alley’s ford in Montgomery county.
Approved April 14, 1882.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Little river, a water course lying in part between the coun-
ties of Montgomery and Pulaski, be deemed a lawful fence as
to any stock named in the eighth section of chapter ninety-
seven, Code eighteen hundred and seventy-three, between
the points hereinafter specified, and as to the proprietors and
occupants of the lands on such river—that is to say, from
the mouth of said river to Alley’s ford, in Montgomery
county.
2. This act shall be in force from and after the first day of!
September next.
