Chap. 29.—An ACT to extend the time for the repeal of the present
fence law in the magisterial district of Belfield, in the county of
Greenesville.
Approved April 7, 1882.
Whereas an election was held in the county of Greenesville,
under authority of an act requiring the officers conducting
elections in Greenesville county to submit the question of
continuing or repealing the fence laws to the voters of voting
districts of Greenesville county, approved February twenty-
seventh, eighteen hundred and-seventy-nine, and it having
been ascertained from the returns and abstracts of the ballots
cast at said election that the magisterial district of Belfield
had voted against the present fence law, and that its repeal
in that district would take effect in accordance with an order
entered of record by the county judge of said county of
Greenesville, at the expiration of two years from the date of
said election; and whereas it appears to this general assembly
that it is desirable that the time for such repeal shall be ex-
tended for two years after the day named in the order of said
judge; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the time
for the repeal of the present fence law in the magisterial dis-
trict of Belfield, in the county of Greenesville, be extended
for three years from the day mentioned in the order entered
of record by the county judge of Greenesville county.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
