Chap. 59.—An ACT to authorize Henry N. Price to construct a tram-
way to Smithfield, in Isle of Wight county, Virginia.
Approved February 4, 1882.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Henry N. Price be and he is hereby authorized and empow-
ered to construct a tramway, either of wood or iron rails,
from Zuni, in Isle of Wight county, to Smithfield, in said
county, for the purpose of transporting wood, lumber, and
merchandise; and he is hereby authorized to use horse or
steam power.
2. For the purpose of acquiring lands for said tramway, he
is hereby authorized and empowered to proceed as railroad
and other corporations for the condemnation of the same, as
prescribed by the laws of the commonwealth.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
