Chap. 47.—An ACT for the relief of the administrator of Reese B.
Gillespie, deceased.
Approved January 28, 1882.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the administrator of Reese B. Gillespie, deceased, late clerk
of the circuit and county courts of Tazewell county, have
the further time of two years from the passage of this act to
collect by distress, or other proper process, all fee bills due
to said Reese B. Gillespie as clerk of said courts, or either of
them, at the time of his death. And it is further enacted,
that said administrator be and he is hereby authorized and
empowered to correct any errors committed by said Reese
B. Gillespie in making out said fee bills.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
Chap. 47.—An ACT authorizing the trustees of Bascom chapel,
Methodist Episcopal church, South, at Onancock, in the county of
Accomac, to sell and convey said church and lot of land on which it
is located, and to invest the proceeds.
Approved April 14, 1882.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the trustees of Bascom chapel, Methodist Episcopal church,
south, in the town of Onancock, in the county of Accomac,
be and they are hereby authorized to sell and convey said
church and lot of land on which the same is located, and
invest the proceeds thereof, in other church property in the
town of Onancock.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
