Chap. 234.—An ACT to authorize the erection of a pier, or wharf,
at or near the mouth of Lyon’s creek, in the county of Isle of
Wight.
Approved March 6, 1882.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
Nathaniel H. Burrow, of the county of Prince George, he
authorized to erect a pier, or wharf, at or near the mouth of
Lyons creek, in the county of Isle of Wight, adjacent to the
property of said Nathaniel H. Burrow, for the purpose of
shipping timber and cord wood to and from the same, for
himself and others, and may charge for the same such sum
as the county court of Isle of Wight may allow: provided,
that said pier-head, or wharf, shall not interfere with naviga-
tion.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
