Chap. 206.—An ACT for the relief of William E. Jacob, late treas-
urer of Accomac county.
Approved March 3, 1882,
Whereas it is represented to the general assembly that
there are in the hands of William E. Jacob, late treasurer
of Accomac county, an amount of uncollected tickets for
state taxes and county levies for the year cighteen hundred
and seventy-nine; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
William E. Jacob, late treasurer of Accomac county, be and
he is hereby authorized to collect such tickets for state taxes
and county levies, as yet remain uncollected in his hands for
the ycar eighteen hundred and seventy-nine aforesaid, which
have not been returned as delinquents: provided the same be
collected within one year from the passage of this act.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
