Chap. 148.—An ACT to enable the trustees.of Methodist parsonage
of Green circuit to sell and convey the same.
Approved February 21, 1882.
1, Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
J.G. E. D. Davis, Walter Fishback, T. J. Chapman, George
E. Blakey, Larkin Watson, William Shelton, and Q. R. Hume,
trustees, holding in trust for the quarterly conference of
Greene circuit of the Methodist Episcopal church, south, a
eertain house and lot in the town of Stanardsville, Greene
county, Virginia, situate on the south side of Main street of
said town, between the Lafayette and Eagle hotels, and com-
monly known as the Methodist parsonage of Greene circuit,
be and the said trustees are hereby empowered to sell and
convey said house and lot upon such terms and in such man-
ner as the quarterly conference of Greene circuit of the
Methodist Episcopal church, south, may prescribe and direct.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
