Chap. 141.—An ACT to allow T. D. Arundall, deputy treasurer of
Meadsville and Staunton districts, Halifax county, additional time
to make returns of delinquent taxes.
Approved February 15, 1882.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That T. D. Arun-
dall, deputy treasurer for A.eR. Green, treasurer for Meads-
ville and Staunton districts, Halifax county, who has failed
in due time to make a proper return of lists of delinquent
taxes for said districts for the years eighteen hundred and
seventy-nine and eighteen hundred and eighty, be and he is
hereby allowed until the first day of April, eighteen hundred
and eighty-two, to produce before the said treasurer said
delinquent lists of taxes, and when said lists so furnished to
the treasurer have been certified to by the supervisors
respectively of the said districts, and the county court of
said county, the said Arundall shall be entitled to a credit, in
his settlement with said treasurer, for the same, in the same
manner as if he had produced said lists in the time allowed
by law, and the auditor of public accounts shall credit said
A. R. Green, treasurer, by whatever amount said board of
supervisors and county court may certify to as delinquent.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
Chap. 141.—An ACT to allow T. D. Arundall, deputy treasurer of

ville and Staunton districts, Halifax county, who has failed

seventy-nine and eighteen hundred and eighty, be and he is
